About the Adoption Coordinator Role
Adoption Coordinators are responsible for supporting foster families, ensuring the dog is vetted, interviewing adoption applications & facilitating a dog’s transition to it’s adoptive home.
The average commitment of this role is about 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Being the main point of contact for foster families once the dog arrives in TEAM’s care
- Supporting foster families with training, vet appointments, and supplies
- Writing the dog’s bio and interviewing adoption applicants
- Selecting the adopter and facilitating the dog’s transition to its forever home
About the Foster Coordinator Role
Foster Coordinators are responsible for supporting foster families with their foster dogs, matching new dogs with fosters, coordinating supplies, and recruiting and onboarding new foster families.
The average commitment of this role is about 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Recruit and onboard new foster families
- Develop and maintain relationships with foster families
- Help place new dogs with well-suited foster families
- Support foster families with questions about fostering and training while a dog is in the foster’s care
