James joined us after being rescued from the Korean Dog Meat Trade. When he first arrived he was completely shut down, terrified of everything and would melt into a puddle on the floor if you tried to touch him. After being in foster care he has really started to come out of his shell. He now gets excited when his foster mom walks in the door, he has learnt to walk on leash and enjoys exploring his neighbourhood, and LOVES to play with all the other dogs in the house. James is still very uncertain and needs someone willing to take it slow and help him build his confidence. He is looking for a home with at least one other dog (the more the better!) as he learns a lot from the dogs in his foster home and needs them to continue to show him life isn’t all that scary.
