My name is Jackson, and I am the biggest and most affectionate pup you will ever meet. I so want to be part of a family and I have yet to meet a dog, or person whom I cannot connect with!

I am a big boy, approximately 70 pounds, and I love to see what the big outside world has to offer. I was found as a stray in western Ontario and no one came to claim me. But my friends at the shelter felt I had so much to offer, so they reached out to us at TEAM.

Without an actual DNA test, the best guess is a that I am a lab, collie and shepherd cross but that is just speculation. What I do know is that I crave human companionship and guidance. I love to be close and near to my people. I so want to be part of a family and I am so very affectionate-I promise lots of cuddles and kisses!

I am great with most other dogs, depending on their size and behaviour. I have not yet had the opportunity to meet any cats nor young children.
I can benefit from some leash training, but am totally house trained. I have escaped every crate I have been in so would love to have a place where I can just chill. My foster mom keeps irregular hours and I am fine with sleeping in until 11 am, but she knows I am a younger dog so ensures that I get three to four decent walks a day. Despite her schedule, I have adapted and haven’t had any accidents in her condo.

My best wish moving forward is this:
1-I get adopted by an active person who enjoy weekend hikes or very long walks.
2-I become part of a family who wants to snuggle, watch lots of movies on Netflix and chill, after our exercise.
3-I get chosen by a family who appreciates my affection and can commit to ongoing leash training as that is my only flaw, but I am so eager to learn.

Remember, I was found as a stray, no one claimed me, nor did anyone care enough to take the time to help me become the most awesome dog I know I am capable of being.

I will wait patiently for the best home ever. My foster mom and adoption coordinator tell me this is their plan. I sincerely hope so.
